You don’t want to miss this event. See you there!
Because of a scheduling conflict, our Tuesday, September 30 meetup has been cancelled. We’ll send out word when we have a new date and time. We’re sorry for the inconvenience, and hope to see you at the next #MaptimeYVR meetup!
It was great to hang out with a group of map lovers this week! Many thanks to the BC Libraries Cooperative for loaning us the space for the next 10 weeks - we literally couldn’t do this without them.
We hammered out a few details about how the group would run:
For now, we’re going to stick with the BC Libraries Coop office on Tuesday nights. If there’s a change, we’ll note it here.
Maptime is for everyone regardless of background, technical skill. Maptime is for you! We welcome anyone wanting to share, learn, and teach anything related to cartography. We’d love to see your face at our next meetup, Tuesday, September 30 at 6:30 pm. Space is limited to 15 seats, so be sure to register to save your spot.
We have a date! We have space!

Help us get @maptimeVAN off to a great start! The agenda is up to you, but I thought it would be good to start off with some basic info: how often do we want to meet (weekly or monthly), intros, and an overview of all the fun geo/mappy stuff happening in Vancouver. If there’s time, I (Cecily) will do a presentation on OpenStreetMap 101.
Where we’ll go next is up to you! If you have questions, contact @skeskali or @maptimeVAN on Twitter.
