We’ll be meeting in St. Paul in the Highland Park Library’s Community Room (located on the 2nd floor) and have some great presentations on resources and maps to get you started on some current, and future projects.
Mike Dolbow will show us Census Reporter, how to get to Census data fast, and make a map within minutes! Ryan Mattke will also be presenting on Census Data Visualizations, in particular with GIS data and historical maps!
After the presentations, we’ll discuss some highlights from the 2015 NACIS conference in Minneapolis, our favorite resources, and maps together!
We’ll have pizza and refreshments, courtesy of CartoDB. As always, beginners are welcome and don’t forget to bring a laptop!
